From popular TV series "Walker,Texas Ranger", Sheree J. Wilson stars in "Fragile", a non conventional drama by first-time French director, Frederic Galfo. "Fragile" a philosophical non convential tale about a married woman going through a mid-life crisis and who finds self-liberation after an encounter with a photographer with a strange offer.." said Frederic Galfo, writer/director/ producer, who is currently working on his new film.
"People will be surprised by Sheree's talent and versatility. She's astonishing in this film. Fans are not used to see her like this. She's not only very talented and very professional but also likes taking risks which is absolutely great for European directors who tend to prefer a non-conventional approach to filmmaking...I knew I was blessed when she agreed to do this short film. I tried to capture a woman's inner turmoils in Fragile and the film's essence,reflective and intriguing jigsaw puzzle in a visually arresting, "narratively" inventive, and psychologically enigmatic style..." he said.
Jim Matlosz (Award Winning Cinematographer/ Sundance alumni 2003) said about the project "Fragile":
"Fred contacted me about shooting a film called 'FRAGILE' In July of 2005. He gave me a brief description of the plot and how he would like it shot. I was Flattered that Fred chose to call me and see if I was interest, his sensibility and knowledge of films both contemporary and classic is extensive. Upon our first conversation it was obvious that we spoke the same language, that of collaboration and respect.
But all that aside, I still needed to read the script to get on board. A few days later I had, I called Fred immediately and told him I was interested, but much more that interested, I knew this person (the main character), regardless if you are a man or a woman, we can all relate to the turmoil of a dead end relationship. To say that the shoot was great is an understatement, with a dedicated skeleton crew of maybe 5 people, only two of which had film experience we made a film that I can be proud to put my name on...."
